This page explains how to request deletion of data processed through SIOPEC, coba-message, and the Meta app Cobá-Mensajes, in accordance with Mexico's LFPDPPP and Meta requirements for WhatsApp Business. See also our Privacy Policy.

1. Who may submit a request?

  • The data subject.
  • A legal representative with proper documentation.
  • A parent or legal guardian of a minor.

2. What data can we delete?

  • Phone, email, and contact details in SIOPEC.
  • WhatsApp message history and metadata in our systems.
  • Associated preferences and profile data, unless legally required to retain.

3. Data we may retain

  • Billing and accounting records (Mexican tax retention periods).
  • Information needed for legal defense or incident investigation.
  • Anonymized data that cannot identify you.

4. How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to our privacy team.
  2. Subject: Data deletion request — Cobá Networks
  3. Include: full name, phone (WhatsApp if applicable), email, description of data to delete, copy of official ID (passport or Mexican INE).
  4. Keep your sent-mail confirmation. You will receive an acknowledgment with a reference number.
  5. We will confirm actions taken or explain any legal grounds for partial retention.

5. Response times

  • Reply within 20 business days of a complete request.
  • Deletion within 15 additional business days when granted.

6. WhatsApp, Meta, and your device

Important:

  • Deleting data from Cobá Networks does not remove conversations stored in the WhatsApp app on your phone.
  • To stop receiving messages, state so in your request or block our business number in WhatsApp.
  • To revoke Cobá-Mensajes app permissions on Facebook: Settings → Apps and Websites → Remove.
  • Rights regarding Meta as an independent controller: Meta Privacy Policy.
