At Cobá Networks we respect your privacy and protect your personal data in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its regulations. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you interact with our services, including SIOPEC, coba-message, and the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta Cloud API).

This policy applies to visitors of cobanetworks.com, SIOPEC customers and vendors, and people who interact via WhatsApp through coba-message and the Meta app Cobá-Mensajes.

Meta/Facebook: We do not use Facebook Login in SIOPEC. Our Meta integration is limited to WhatsApp Cloud API.

Identification and contact

  • Name, phone number (including WhatsApp), and email address.
  • Vendor, event client, and SIOPEC user data.

WhatsApp and messaging

  • Message content and metadata, Meta IDs, delivery status.
  • HSM template records and replies within permitted conversation windows.

Technical data

  • IP address, user agent, logs, API tokens (stored securely).

  • Operational WhatsApp notifications (events, vendors, clients).
  • Operating and auditing coba-message and its SIOPEC integration.
  • Technical support and legal compliance in Mexico.
  • Marketing information only with your express consent.

5. Sharing with third parties

  • Meta/WhatsApp for message delivery.
  • Hosting providers (e.g. Hostinger) as data processors.
  • Authorities when legally required.

We do not sell your personal data.

We retain data as long as needed for operations, support, auditing, and tax obligations. Technical logs are typically kept for 30 to 180 days.

7. Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including HTTPS/TLS and access controls.

8. Your rights (ARCO)

You may request access, rectification, cancellation, objection, and withdrawal of consent under Mexican law.

Response time: 20 business days; fulfillment within 15 additional business days when applicable.

9. Cookies

Our corporate website may use cookies for preferences and aggregated analytics. SIOPEC and coba-message do not rely on public-site cookies for WhatsApp.
